The Broadway Track Intensive

May 27–29, 2026

Three days. Three disciplines. One unforgettable audition experience.
Knoxville, TN · Ages 13–18 · $450

Ziegenfuss Voice Studio invites motivated teen performers to three immersive days of pre-professional training in voice, acting, and audition technique. Whether you're preparing for competitive college musical theatre auditions, your high school's fall production, or local community theatre opportunities, The Broadway Track Intensive is designed to help you stand out in the audition room—and stay there.

Over three days, you'll work with expert faculty across voice, acting through song, Alexander Technique, monologue coaching, improv, and themed acting—and close out the intensive with a full faculty mock audition that puts everything you've learned to the test. You'll leave with practical tools, stronger performance skills, and the kind of audition-ready confidence that only comes from doing the real thing.

Limited to 12 students

What to expect

Each day of the intensive pairs two disciplines taught simultaneously by our faculty—students are split into small groups and rotate at midday so every student receives instruction from every teacher across the three days.

Day 1 — Voice & Acting Through Song Work on vocal technique and repertoire in a master class setting, then bring that material to life with a focused acting-through-song workshop that connects intention, objective, and physical presence to the music.

Day 2 — Alexander Technique & Monologue Coaching Explore the Alexander Technique—the same body-awareness methodology used in conservatory training—and discover how use of self transforms your performance. In a separate room, individual monologue coaching sessions push your text work deeper.

Day 3 — Acting Classes & Mock Auditions Two focused acting classes—an improv session and a themed acting workshop—give you hands-on experience with spontaneity, cold reading, and stylistic range. The day closes with a full faculty mock audition where each student performs a song cut and monologue for our three-person panel, followed by real feedback you can use.
